Book It Beagle (“App”) is provided by intentionallyblank.page (“we,” “us,” “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
1. What the App Does
Book It Beagle is an iPad app that connects to your WordPress/The Events Calendar environment so authorized staff can view event and attendee information and perform operational actions.
2. Information We Process
When you use the App, the following information may be processed:
- Configuration data: Base URL and App Key entered by the user or provided by MDM.
- Event operations data: Event, attendee, and related booking details retrieved from your configured backend.
- Camera data: If enabled by you, camera access is used for QR/ticket scanning.
- Device and diagnostic data: Basic system-level logs may be generated by Apple (for example, crash logs).
3. How Information Is Used
We use information only to:
- Authenticate your session with your configured backend.
- Display and manage event/attendee workflows in the App.
- Support ticket scanning and operational functionality.
- Maintain app reliability and security.
4. Data Storage and Transfer
- Configuration values are stored on-device (and may be managed via your organization’s MDM).
- Operational data is fetched from your configured server.
- We do not sell personal information.
5. Third-Party Services
Depending on your setup, the App may interact with third-party services such as:
- Your WordPress hosting environment
- The Events Calendar ecosystem
- Square POS (if enabled)
Those services are governed by their own privacy policies.
6. Data Retention
Data retention is controlled primarily by your backend systems and organizational policies. On-device configuration can be removed by logging out or uninstalling the App.
7. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information handled by the App. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for business/administrative use and is not directed to children under 13.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Requests should be directed to the organization operating the backend and/or to us at the contact below.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above indicates when changes were made.
